THE ORUVAI PROMISE

01Playable first

Platform, access, mode and group fit are checked before personal relevance.

02Built from your reasons

Deliberate reactions and their reasons shape Gaming DNA instead of clicks alone.

03With visible limits

Uncertainty, source status and trade-offs remain part of the answer.

See what actually shapes your Gaming DNA.

The public product explains the method. Your personal signals stay inside your private account.

1. A smaller decision, explained

Oruvai combines the reasons behind your taste, the games you can access and what fits this moment. The result is three considered directions instead of another endless ranking.

Each direction answers three practical questions: Can you actually play it? Why could it fit now? What is the trade-off? Oruvai does not pretend to know your taste perfectly and does not present invented precision as fact.

  • Playable first
  • Built from your reasons
  • Honest about uncertainty

2. The recommendation pipeline

Candidate generation

Oruvai starts with owned, accessible and discoverable games. Similarity, structured experience attributes and deliberate long-tail exploration help include relevant indie titles instead of only repeating popular releases.

Hard compatibility checks

Platform, player count, mode, access and known crossplay limits remove candidates that cannot satisfy the chosen context. A game should not rank highly merely because its theme fits when the group cannot play it together.

Personal fit

Explicit likes, dislikes, reasons, Gaming DNA, recent decisions, play state and the selected moment are considered with different weights. Stable taste and today's context remain separate.

Three useful roles

The output provides a strongest overall fit, a safer alternative and a justified discovery. They represent meaningfully different directions, not three near-duplicates.

3. Main signals

  • Technical possibility: platform, mode, player count, crossplay and access
  • Current context: available time, solo or group, desired energy and session intent
  • Deliberate feedback: what worked, what caused friction and why
  • Gaming DNA: stable preference dimensions learned from meaningful evidence
  • Library state: owned, playing, later or finished
  • Data confidence: source quality, freshness and completeness
  • Diversity: a controlled space for relevant but less obvious candidates

4. What does not secretly buy a rank

  • A publisher or store cannot pay for an undisclosed recommendation boost.
  • Affiliate commission does not override technical compatibility or Gaming DNA.
  • Popularity is not treated as proof of personal fit.
  • A skipped recommendation is not automatically treated as dislike.
  • Sensitive personal data is not intended to determine game ranking.

5. Gaming DNA

Gaming DNA describes patterns in the experiences a person deliberately values or avoids. It is not a personality diagnosis and it is not fixed. Solo and group preferences may be modelled separately because the same person can want different experiences with friends.

Every stable trait is tied to supporting signals. Users can inspect those signals, correct the interpretation and remove or change the feedback they provided. When the evidence is weak or conflicting, Oruvai shows that limit instead of inventing certainty.

6. Group decisions

For a group, Oruvai first establishes the technically playable intersection. It then balances the participants' stated context and relevant preferences. Private votes and veto-like incompatibilities are handled separately from broad taste averages so one person's hard limit is not hidden by the group mean.

7. How recommendations are calculated

Your recommendations are calculated by Oruvai’s own system, not generated by an AI language model.

8. Radar labels and sources

Confirmed

Based on an official publisher, developer, platform or other primary source.

Reported

Published by an identified source with relevant reporting history but not yet officially confirmed.

Rumour or leak

Unconfirmed information that may be incomplete or wrong. The source type and uncertainty must be visible; rumours are not presented as fact.

Personal relevance

Radar may rank signals using followed games, library, access, play intent and platforms. Low-value general news may be suppressed even when it is popular.

Current scope

Radar is currently disabled and is not available on the website. Previously saved followed-game interests and preferences remain stored. Push delivery and verified market prices are not currently enabled.

9. Planned deals and commercial relationships

Verified market prices and affiliate attribution are currently disabled. If introduced, a deal may be selected because the game is followed, wish-listed or relevant to the user. Any commission must be labelled next to the action, with merchant, platform, edition, region, price and observation time shown clearly.

Direct Oruvai Pro checkout is processed through Stripe and remains separate from outbound deal links. Oruvai does not guarantee a third-party merchant's inventory, key activation, refund policy or continued price.

10. Your controls

  • See why a game was selected
  • Change time, mood, platform or group context
  • Correct library and play state
  • Review Gaming DNA signals and correct their interpretation
  • Control public profile visibility
  • Disconnect external platforms when a connection is enabled
  • Request deletion of the account and associated profile

11. Quality and corrections

Oruvai evaluates catalogue freshness, technical error reports, recommendation outcomes, diversity and explanation quality. Product evaluation must not be designed only to maximise clicks or time spent.

Users and rights holders can report incorrect game facts, misleading source labels and rights concerns. Material corrections retain an internal audit trail.
