Refund policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to direct Oruvai Pro subscriptions processed through Stripe. It explains statutory remedies, billing corrections and possible voluntary refunds without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

2. Statutory rights come first

This policy does not limit statutory rights concerning withdrawal, non-conforming digital services, duplicate or unauthorised charges, payment law or damages. Where the law provides a remedy, that remedy applies regardless of a voluntary policy.

3. Withdrawal

A valid consumer withdrawal is handled under the separate Withdrawal information. It is not evaluated under discretionary refund criteria.

4. Service problems

If a paid feature is materially unavailable or does not conform to the contract, contact support with the affected feature, time, device and relevant evidence. Oruvai may first restore conformity where the law permits. Price reduction, termination or reimbursement follows where legally required.

5. Billing errors

• Duplicate charge: reviewed and reversed where confirmed
• Charge after effective cancellation: reviewed against the recorded cancellation time and end date
• Incorrect plan or amount: corrected where the checkout or invoice differs from the contract
• Unauthorised payment: reported promptly to Oruvai and the payment provider; account security checks may follow

6. Voluntary refunds

Oruvai may grant a voluntary refund for a verified exceptional failure or clear first-purchase mistake. Any decision is additional to statutory rights and does not create a permanent entitlement for unrelated cases. Oruvai does not offer a general unconditional money-back guarantee.

7. Requesting a refund

Contact [email protected] with account email, invoice or transaction reference, purchase date, amount and reason. Do not send full card details, passwords or authentication codes.

8. Method and timing

Approved direct-web refunds will normally be initiated through Stripe to the original payment method. Bank, card-network and store processing times are outside Oruvai's direct control. Oruvai will confirm the decision, amount and initiation electronically.

9. App stores

A purchase billed by an app store may need to be refunded through that store. The billing receipt identifies the seller and relevant request route.
